Shipping & tracking
How fast do you ship?
Fast. Most orders go out the same day, and everything ships within 1–2 business days. Every plate is printed to order, so it’s made fresh for you — and it still leaves quickly.
My tracking says “pre-transit” or hasn’t moved. Did you ship it?
Yes — this is the question we get most, and it’s almost always the same thing.
When we ship your order, tracking goes live right away. But USPS doesn’t update it until the package gets its first scan at a sorting facility, which can lag a day or two behind the actual pickup. So tracking can sit on “pre-transit,” or look stuck in Brooklyn, while your package is genuinely already moving.
If it hasn’t updated after a few days, message us — we’ll look into it and sort it out.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes — we ship worldwide. International shipping is paid by the customer at checkout, and delivery times vary by destination and local customs.
My order arrived damaged, or never arrived. What now?
We’ll replace it. If a plate turns up broken or your order goes missing in transit, tell us — a photo helps if it’s damaged — and we’ll send a replacement. You don’t need to fight us on this one.
Returns
What’s your return policy?
You have 7 days to return an item. Return shipping is paid by the customer.
Damaged or lost orders are a different story — we replace those free, see above.
Can I return a custom order?
Custom pieces are printed to your exact measurements for your specific box, so they can’t be resold — please double-check your numbers before ordering. If something arrives damaged or doesn’t match the spec you gave us, contact us and we’ll make it right.
Choosing the right plate
How do I know which style I need — toggle, rocker, or outlet?
Look at what’s on your wall right now:
Toggle — the classic little lever you flick up and down.
Rocker (Decora) — the wide flat paddle you press.
Outlet / Duplex — a power socket, not a switch.
Then count how many are behind one plate — that’s your single, double, or triple.
Do your outlet covers use a middle screw?
No. Our duplex outlet covers mount with screws at the top and bottom rather than a single screw through the centre — which is different from some standard outlet plates. Worth knowing before you order, since it’s caught a few people out.
My switch box isn’t a standard size. Can you still help?
Yes — this is what we do best. Oversized plates, four-rocker configurations, mixed toggle/rocker/outlet layouts, non-US switch styles: if you can measure it, we can print it. See Custom Orders for exactly which measurements we need.
Can I get a colour or finish that isn’t listed?
Often, yes. Because we print on demand, we’re not limited to what’s in the catalogue. Tell us what you’re after and we’ll let you know what’s possible.
The product
What are the plates made of?
PLA — a plastic made from renewable plant sources rather than petroleum. Each plate is 3D printed to order in the USA, which is how we run with zero overstock and zero waste.
Is it hard to install?
No — about five minutes, and the only tool you need is a flat head. Screws are included. Full walkthrough on our Installation Guide.
